Dr. Thomas Binder is a Swiss cardiologist with a doctorate in immunology and virology and 34 years’ experience with treatment of respiratory infections. But in 2020, on his personal website, he dared to criticize Switzerland’s COVID restrictions.

Three days later, 60 armed police officers, including 20 from the anti-terrorism unit, showed up to arrest Dr. Binder. When they found no signs of the violent behavior they’d been told to expect, they went directly to the “Plan B” that any respectable fascist government would have at their fingertips. They had a psychiatrist make up a “mental illness” right on the spot.

The proof of Binder’s insanity was that he said “1984” when the psychiatrist asked him what year it was. It was meant as a joke, but nobody laughed. Instead, he was diagnosed with “COVID insanity” and put in a mental hospital. Presumably this meant that an exposure to COVID had triggered a disconnection from “reality,” as defined by authoritarians.

Vaccine hesitant? You must be crazy!

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is a licensing body, not a school. But they do have a lesson for the “vaccine hesitant”: you’re crazy.

On November 19, Dr. William Makis reported that the CPSO recently sent a letter to all the doctors in Ontario suggesting that they consider their unvaccinated patients mentally ill, in need of medication and psychotherapy, to help them combat “avoidance behavior.” The CPSO wants to make sure that patients’ anxieties aren’t “empowered by exemption” from the untested substances.

“Now, so far they’re not mandating it, they’re just suggesting it, that any of their unvaccinated patients—that they should consider they have a mental problem, and that they should be put on psychiatric medication,” said Makis.
